Philosophy

Treatment Centers of Illinois, LLC believes costly and lengthy treatment is rarely necessary. Successful treatment is possible for most addictive individuals without removing them from their home or work. Through an intensive course of outpatient care, they are taught to adopt healthy alternative behaviors within their lifestyles. This intensive course of outpatient care utilizes education, individual and group counseling and self-help support. Individuals and their family members are taught to develop a way of life that is dynamic, balanced and addiction free.

The Matrix Model

The Matrix Model is a proven effective, evidence-based protocol in a comprehensive, multi-format program. The Matrix Model’s instructional design helps clients understand complex cognitive-behavioral and clinical concepts, reinforces positive behavior change and provides a mechanism for corrective feedback utilizing client resistance as a teaching tool as well as introducing and encouraging self-help/support through group participation.
